Homework Central

What is it?
Homework Central is used by History, Geography, RE and for some French homework too.

The site is created and operated by King Edward VI High School.
How do I access?
To access, you need the school kCode - the same for everyone. Please ask your teacher.

Help!

Passcode not working?:

  • Make sure you are using upper or lowercase correctly.

  • Check the kCode has not been updated since you last used it.

  • Try opening the site using a Private or Incognito window.

  • If you are still having problems, please see Mr Lomas in F6. 

Revision Central

What is it?
Revision Central is used by a number of subjects for exam and assessment revision. This can be accessed any time you need some extra help preparing for your exams.

The site is created and operated by King Edward VI High School.
How do I access?
To access, you need the school kCode - the same for everyone. Please ask your teacher.

Help!

my edvi

What is it?
MyEdvi is the secure area of this website where students and staff can access resources for free from their school to support learning and revision. 

The site is created and operated by King Edward VI High School.
How do I access?
To access, you need to set up an account using your school email address.

On the login page, click Sign up, fill in your details and wait to be approved.
​
Accounts will only be accepted that use the school email address (@kevi.org.uk). 

Help!

Login not working?:

  • Make sure you are using a school email address (@kevi.org.uk).

  • Try the "Forgot Password" link and create a new password. 

  • If you still have difficulty, please see Mr Lomas in F6.

Outlook Email

What is it?
To access your school emails, we use Microsoft Outlook. This also gives you access to Microsoft 365 (including Word, PowerPoint and Excel). 

The site is created and operated by Microsoft Corporation.
How do I access?
You should login through RM Unify. This is the only way to access your emails.

You need to use your school username and password - the same as you use to login to school computers.

Once logged in, click on the Mail icon.

Login not working?:

  • Make sure you are using the correct case, lower or upper.

  • If it still isn't working, do not reset password via RM as this will not work, you will need to see IT Support to help you.

  • Any other issues, please email support@kevi.org.uk. 

Go4Schools

What is it?
Go4Schools is where all homework is set at King Edward VI High School. Although to access the homework you may use another site, the instructions and due date can be found on Go4Schools.

​It is used by all subjects. 

The site is created and operated by Hyperspheric Solutions Ltd​.

​First time user?
  • Click the "First-time user?" tab.
  • Enter your school email address (j.bloggs24@kevi.org.uk).
  • This sends a password link to your email address to allow you to set a password.
  • If this doesn't work, or you receive no email, please see IT Support.
How do I access?

​​​Using the laptop or desktop?

  • To access, you should login via RM Unify, using your normal school login.

  • Once logged in, make sure you open your Outlook 365 Mail first.

  • Once Mail is open in another window, click the Go4Schools tile.

  • You can then you can select Sign in with Microsoft on Go4Schools and it will sign you in automatically.


Using the app?

  • Download the Go4Schools app from your App Store.

  • You will then need to login with your school email address and the password you set up for Go4Schools.

RM Unify

What is it?
RM Unify is a platform used by the school to save you from logging into several different sites. You can just login into one and it will give you access to several others used by the school.

The site is created and operated by RM Education.
How do I access?

  • You need to use your school username and password - the same as you use to login to school computers.

Login not working?:

  • Make sure you are using the correct case, lower or upper.

  • If it still isn't working, do not reset password via RM as this will not work, you will need to see IT Support to help you.

  • Any other issues, please email support@kevi.org.uk. 

ParentPay

What is it?

ParentPay is the online platform where parents/carers can upload money to their child's account to pay for items from the school canteen and school trips.

​It is used for all payments in school, no cash is accepted. 

The site is created and operated by ParentPay Group.

First time user?

  • The first time you access ParentPay you will need two codes unique to your child, from the school, please contact the School Office on 01785 258546.

  • If you have already registered at a previous school, you will be able to keep your email address and password but still need the codes to transfer your child to our school.

How do I access?

  • To access, you should login via the ParentPay website.

  • Or on tablets and mobile devices, download the ParentPay app from your app store, or go direct to their website.

  • Use the email address and password you set when your first created your account.

Help!

Login not working?:

  • If you cannot login, please try resetting your password.

  • If your child's name doesn't appear once you are logged in, you may need two transfer codes from the school, please contact the School Office on 01785 258546.

ActiveHub

What is it?

ActiveHub is a place to a digital platform designed for secondary schools that integrates curriculum resources, assessments, and data-driven insights to monitor student progress.

​

It is used by French to provide revision tasks and learning activities.

​

The site is created and operated by Pearson Education Ltd.

How do I access?

  • To access, you should login via the ActiveHub website.

  • You should use your school email address to access.

Help!

Login not working?:

  • If you cannot login, please try resetting your password.

  • If it still does not work, please see Mrs Vincent.

Sparx

What is it?

Sparx is an online platform where students can improve key skills, including literacy and numeracy.

Sparx Maths is used for Maths homework.

Sparx Reader is used for English homework.

 

Sparx Science is used for Science homework.

It is created and operated by Sparx Learning. 

How do I access?

  • To access, you should login to your RM Unify account using your school login details.

  • Once logged in, make sure you open your Outlook 365 Mail first.

  • Once Mail is open in a separate tab or window, you can now click the Sparx tile and use the Sign in with Microsoft button to login automatically.

  • You may have to select the Student option.

  • You may need to enter the school name and postcode (King Edward VI High School, ST17 9YJ). 

Help!

Login not working?:

  • Make sure you are using your school Microsoft account and not your personal one. Microsoft may automatically try and sign you into your personal, especially on mobile devices, even if you go through RM Unify first.

  • Try opening the site using a Private or Incognito window.

  • If you are still having problems, please email support@kevi.org.uk.
